Pictures of the raw material being delivered from the forest ready for the next step which will be the processing it into firewood.
Pictures of the raw material being processed into firewood ready to be delivered to one of our customers, this customer wanted to self season their firewood, so took delivery in the spring of a load of unseasoned wood at a reduced price
We dry our wood in two ways, one way is by filling cages and stacking them outside to let the air blow through them ( seasoning naturally ), the second way is by force drying it in our kiln, cages are stacked in a container and hot air ( produced by burning all our waste material ) is blown through them, blowing the moisture out through vents at the rear of the container.
Force drying reduces the drying time considerably.
